Beginning!

This is the start of a new painting….not a great pic, sorry but thought you might like to see my setup, so just an iphone photo. I like to keep my fav brushes, tools & media handy…Painter 2017’s new palette drawers make this so easy, while keeping plenty of canvas area to paint on. I’ll be putting together a little tutorial for this when finished.   ©LionArt-MichelleWebb image

Pet portrait…..landscape…..why not do both!

This began as a traditional portrait of my best mate Kuma, but somewhere along the way i decided to show more of his persona with some water, sun & space. Water is Ku’s happy place, from an inch of mud to the surf beaches near home hes happiest when in the water. The rest of the painting was playing around with shapes, colours & layer methods…Commissions are always welcome, call or email me to discuss your vision for a new artwork for your home or office.
